This series of images explores the human body. Through deliberate crops and close-ups, I hope to showcase the simple beauty that holds billions of smaller intricate structures. Harsh light and contrast work methodically to create a feeling of science-like and experimental images. Additionally, the images are inspired by lines and shapes of nature as the close crops show their own landscape. Nude work of the body is often sexualized and objectified. In this series, I wanted to present the body in an unsexualized way and just photograph rawness. This is an on going project.
